Are we able to give sources and dates to each of these photos?

  • Bottom right is Leila Khaled when she was in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. Can't find the source or date but it's a well known photo of her. She became the first woman to hijack a plane in 1969 and lives to this day.
  • Bottom second from left is Spanish communist and reporter Marina Ginestà photographed in 1936 by Juan Guzmán. She was 17. She survived the war, fled the fascists, and died in Paris in 2014.
  • Bottom second from right is Black Panther Party communications secretary Kathleen Cleaver, photographed in 1968 by Alan Copeland. She would live much of the following years in exile after her husband, party member Eldridge Cleaver, was accused of ambushing and killing Oakland cops. Many years later, she teaches law at Emory University.
  • Top, second from right is Lâm Thị Đẹp, a Viet Cong fighter photographed by Lê Minh Trường in 1972 in the Sóc Trăng province of South Vietnam.
  • Top right is Vilma Espín, chemical engineer and leader in the 26th of July Movement. After the revolution, she would become the president of the Federation of Cuban Women and a member of the central committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.
  • Top left is Roza Shanina, a Red Army sniper who served in WWII and killed 59 fascists. Killed in action 1945 in East Prussia, Germany at the age of 20. I can't find the origin of the photo, but supposedly it was taken in 1944.
  • Per @Cottenlai_Zhou@hexbear.net, top, second from left is from a TV show called Shojo Commando Izumi, not Japanese Red Army founder Fusako Shigenobu, who advocated violent revolutionary struggle in the 70s and 80s, lived much of her life in hiding, was arrested 2000, tried and imprisoned 2006, diagnosed with cancer in 2008, and released in 2022.

The only red army uniform is top left, and that's not her. Pretty sure it's a model too, not a soldier, but i haven't tried to look.

e: I made an incorrect, sexist assumption. my excuse is the colorization process makes her look unusually clean and made-up.

Press conferences got a like more polite after the Communications Secretary started bringing a 12 gauge to the podium...
