It's weird how many companies are unable to reign in their lawyers to prevent loss of public goodwill.

This illegal lawsuit is not a good look for JetBrains, makers of PyCharm - one of the few paid IDEs still holding it's own against free open source options that are rapidly reaching feature parity.
