This level of apathy is not a good thing. Call out corporations being shitty, don't just shrug and say "whatever, it was good for business". Sorry to call you out, but this is an attitude that needs to change and it bugs me.
I don't like that they did it and I no longer use that company at all.
That doesn't mean that the business didn't successfully make the best decision for its own good in that case. And, assuming the poster is still using that business, they're contributing more to the problem. That is precisely why I pointed that out; people should not let companies be able to do that, but if they just take it, they will keep doing it.
