Ah, I see, I guess it's an understandable response if you really think it's them deliberately being condescending. Thank you for explaining!
Maybe I'm just a lot slower to ascribe that maliciousness, but I didn't feel that. My vibe was just that they didn't know what else to say, a position people inevitably get to when they only work with surface reasoning.
This poster had been shown quite a bit of patience and decent arguments and continued to just be a debate nerd. It was justified violence.
