At some point there was an article on some website that did a long-form physics take down of the Tomb Raider series, in which they justified the giant boobies by claiming they were a counterweight to all the guns she was carrying. I'm glad I can't find it, because I'm sure it hasn't aged well. But "um aktuly, you need 36 HH tits to run across this ancient stone beam while carrying 40 lbs of guns and ammo" still gives me a sensible chuckle.

I laughed when FF7s developers admitted that Tifas boobs were only so big because of the limitations of the technology
I mean I get it. When your character is only supposed to be like 5 fuckin polygons, small boobs would definitely look kinda odd without having to dedicate way too many polygons for boobs. Making them huge, simple triangles is the best way to do it while also making it clear that yes those are boobs, that character wasn't stabbed in the chest by triangles.
I don't buy it. You can move all the vertexes around freely, you can do half that size.
Now Terra and Celes's boobs in the previous game - yeah with pixel art that's the only size option besides flat chested.
That's so intensely cum brained. That said, when I draw characters I try to make them attractive to me (but not like... masturbatory?)
