I'll be the odd one out and say this is pretty awesome. I've even toyed with the thought of finding a taxidermist if I ever have to have an amputation or something.

For many people, their tattoos have a lot of significance to them, so preserving that isn't any weirder than embalming and burying the dead.

I disagree, it's at least a little bit weirder. At least you're going to bury the body after embalming, not hang them up on a wall

If you're going to go through the effort of preserving something, it makes more sense to display it than to bury it in the ground.
