That as means no federal tax incentives.
Good for their production efforts, but they’ll still have to subsidize sales to keep parity with market pricing.
Edit: scratch that. Building Chinese components in Mexico counts as Mexican manufacturing and most US auto manufacturers are doing this to skirt federal tax incentive requirements. Expect regulation to change on incentives.
