I'd forgotten this movie had even been announced. I quite enjoyed the original film but the CGI, especially the Hell scenes, have not held up very well.

Rennet will be good for this, not sure about Foxx. However Joker 2 will probably flop and is more likely to hinder the R rated comic movie scene.

At this point, with the way WB have been, this is most likely to be seen as a cheap Venom rip off - but in that sense it's almost certain to get the green light.

I don't think the Joker sequel is going to be an outright musical and I'm still interested in seeing it. I think it's too early to write it off just yet, we've not had a first trailer yet.

I think the following spawn has would carry it through and if deadpool does well R rating will be safe.
