This reminds me that after they rolled out houses, people would trap monsters or pets in their houses. They would be mostly safe from other players because they weren't accessible behind the house's locked door.
Well the devs hadn't given bard skills line of sight. So griefer bards were going around killing peoples' pet collections by aggroing them against each other through walls.
The great thing about that game was that the devs always had too much faith in players, and every single feature was rolled out with not enough guardrails.
