I assume that kind of stuff has been removed over the years but its funny to think about. Pretty sure after the building burned down you could steal their stuff.
Oh I think you're thinking about when a house collapses. Homes decay over time in game, something like a week or something irl I think, so if you don't log in and visit your home it will decay then collapse and spill out all your items. People watch homes for when it happens so they can get in there and steal shit.
