And I had to bust my ass for a little 7x7. But I decorated for Valentines (a day late) and I have a harpy statute that squawks.

The only thing I know about UO is you could set fire to people's homes.

This reminds me that after they rolled out houses, people would trap monsters or pets in their houses. They would be mostly safe from other players because they weren't accessible behind the house's locked door.

Well the devs hadn't given bard skills line of sight. So griefer bards were going around killing peoples' pet collections by aggroing them against each other through walls.

The great thing about that game was that the devs always had too much faith in players, and every single feature was rolled out with not enough guardrails.

Can you? I didn't even know. I doubt you can on UOAlive though since it's non pvp.

I assume that kind of stuff has been removed over the years but its funny to think about. Pretty sure after the building burned down you could steal their stuff.

Oh I think you're thinking about when a house collapses. Homes decay over time in game, something like a week or something irl I think, so if you don't log in and visit your home it will decay then collapse and spill out all your items. People watch homes for when it happens so they can get in there and steal shit.
