My only real complaint is Lara's model is a bit weird looking from the front. Otherwise the game is masterfully remade in a tasteful way. The trailers made it look cheap like the GTA "remasters" but playing the actual game the aesthetic has been nicely modernised which also really helps the readability of the level. Something I really struggled with on ps1 graphics even rendering at 1080p on an emulator.

The flare button is gone from tr2 :( the shortcut in tr3 i haven't tested yet but this is a big pain cos I would just cheat in 999 flares and spam them.

Appreciate the modern control scheme but it actually makes me appreciate the classic tank controls more.

Puts the absolute insult that was tomb raider anniversary to shame.

Yeah, I first tried emulating the games when I played through all five classic games some years back but ended up just getting the PC versions since those were easier on the eyes.

It looks like they did a decent if uneven job on these. Like you have fully remade roughly PS2/early PS3 human character models but all the animals and monsters just look like they got slightly smoothed out to hide their obvious early 3D action figure joints
