Sounds like there's some deep lore there. Political intrigues and science-fiction elements? Tbh the series seem fine to me, I don't get the hate it gets. Whenever I see people complain about it, the complaints reek of "why don't the kids enjoy the things I enjoy?"
Kids like it and it sounds like it has some elements that elevate the plot, it doesn't strike me as worse than GI Joe, for example.

No I will not watch it.
It's not for me, but then again, neither is Bluey or Mad Men
