Because OP has very unrealistic expectations in life.
meh. the ground is there for when something goes wrong. seeing as nothing is plugged in and they have safety caps in the sockets nothing should go wrong for some time.
I was making an apparently too subtle joke about not being grounded as a person, extrapolating from there 😁
