my interpretation is the compass is referring to the character on the right, not the character on the left, so:

top left - anarchist tries to fix commie, becomes commie
top right - fascist tries to fix communist, mysteriously disappears while commie smirks
bottom left - commie tries to fix anarchist, becomes anarchist
bottom right - ancap tries to fix commie, commie nopes tf outta there

EDIT: but if this is right, I think top left and bottom left should be swapped?
