Animals are not just “stupid humans”. That thought has gotten many people mauled or killed by confused or scared animals. You’re patronizing these creatures by essentially calling them too stupid to understand their own actions. They are sapient beings, they act with intent.
A five year old human wouldn’t randomly attack and seek to draw blood on what is essentially their parent without serious provocation and warning given. This behavior would be considered severely mentally ill if exhibited by a human. It is normal for a hog.
None of what I said has any bearing on whether they should be eaten or not. It is wrong to eat something that can think and feel.
Humans are blessed by evolution with the concept of empathy, and it’s our duty to use it.
