How do you transliterate it though?
at least with Hangul, you can at least have a feel of what to pronounce...
Sadly you are boned unless you are learning mandarin. You can use the handwriting feature on google translate to manually input the symbols to get an idea though. Best to write out the whole sentence too, there are a few hanzis that change pronunciation depending on context. As I found out this year when I said 新年快乐 （xin nian kuai le) as xin nian kuai yue. I was mortified.
In what case do you say kuaile instead kuaiyue as happy? I thought it's just kuai le...
