Not quite. Band of Brothers was more of a narrative focused show based on a book.
The History Channel stuff started as documentaries, but quickly went off the rails and started focusing on Wunderwaffe shit and nazi mysticism - all still in the "documentary" genre.
Oh no I wasn't talking about Bob the show but the channels back in the day that would feature them.
