there is no "downfall of America" that doesn't involve americans suffering more, maybe even getting a small taste of what living in a poor country is like lol. not that this at all dissuades me in cheering for the downfall of America.

That's already been happening to parts of Texas, Florida and other States, has it not. They've already proven that they've no wish as a Nation to help their own communities out of poverty. The downside of all this is that poor areas just get poorer, the middle classes and rich have a buffer to work with.
