Ok, what did I miss?
Putin negging Cucker about how he applied for the CIA and was rejected for being too stupid.
Basically a in-Cucker's-face "We have plenty of kompromat on you, don't forget that during this interview."
He actually said that? I always thought the Republicans and Trump worshipping Putin was down to kompromat
The Kremlin called the American propagandist they keep in their pocket to interview Putin. Vlad wanted to peddle his ridiculous justifications to an American audience directly.

I suspect it will be a bit like NYT Best Sellers where they have the asterix referencing that it only made it to the best seller list due to a bulk-buy of the books.
