Hey fellow former city-dweller! I grew up in Singapore, lived in Denver for a few years, and have been living in a small town in Central IL for a couple years now. It's not too bad since I'm a homebody and my husband is from the area, but I do miss the convenience of living in a city.

My wife grew up here, and has family here, and is much more of a homebody than I am. To be fair, she was never happy with the Seattle weather, but she does enjoy heading to St. Louis for concerts and such.
