Conservatives deflecting why people arent joining the military, as if people wanting free college is going to stop people who are trying to go to college, its laughable. That doesnt make any fucking sense beyond "people just want free!!! Troop good!!!"

The reasons why people are joining enough are: bloated unsustainable military footprint, modernization of medical systems that make it harder for people to lie about their history, state marijuana legalization and federal refusal to legalize it, the contradictions within a capitalist system that desperately wants a docile, cheap and stupid labor force but a military that needs people who can still read and carryout complex and sensitive tasks. That is on top of constant needless greedy unpopular wars and a populace that is highly distrustful of its government
