I choose to believe that Fetterman is doing a bit. Like he's doing an avante garde performance piece about how useless bourgeois democracy is.
getting divorced for political satire reasons
Eye of the Tiger - his theme song starts playing. He enters from stage right in blue and white sweats with a big Star of David on his chest. He reaches the mic, waits a beat, and he pushes a small button he has been holding in his hand that makes his Israeli flag cape unfurl. The music stops and he says "Are ya triggered?..."
