I associate this song and God Bless the USA with the unfettered jingoism of the Bush years.
Mostly the latter because it was PG enough to be blasted at school assemblies.
Hearing the God Bless the USA song was surreal for me because I'm old enough to have heard it first as an anthem for the Gulf war and Bush Sr., then a decade later it was the theme song again for the surge in Afghanistan and Bush Jr. It felt like a time loop to my teenage mind.
Good video. Loved how fluid the dancing was.
