it's us millennials fault though for doing it with variants of hardcore and metalcore music.

we unlocked the door and zoomers just bust though it

also as an old school hardcore/metalcore fan that shit confused me at first

Crust started it in the 80s, stenchcore and grindcore etc. It was a more tongue in cheek adding of core which has now come full circle
