Surveillance footage reviewed by CBC News shows Robinson appearing to comply at the time officers put her into handcuffs. There is no sound on the recordings, which are largely obscured by an awning.

Doctors say her shoulder was dislocated and her rotator cuff is severely torn, according to medical records reviewed by CBC News. Robinson says she is now waiting for surgery to fix the tear.

This is the same police force that murdered Myles Gray. The VPD are vicious goons and need to be disbanded.

When Yao Wei Wu was severely beaten by two plainclothes Vancouver Police Department officers who were responding to a domestic violence call at the wrong address, no one was charged.

We do have to stop pretending this only happens south of the border. We need a lot more civilian oversight over Police actions, and those bodycams we've been waiting a quarter century for.
