Fun fact, it's mandatory for every vinyl collection to have a copy of Rumours. When you first start collecting vinyl, the government will mail you a copy of this album for free.
God dammit, I paid for mine! I assume I can itemize it on my taxes and claim the Fleetwood Deduction?
Ha! I wish I would have known this, since I literally just ordered this vinyl last night. Although, I've had my turntable for about 10 years now, and never received a record in the mail. I must have slipped through the cracks.
I'm being called out here, I added Rumors LP to an order last night. All I got was free shipping though, so that's rough.
I just ordered it last night too! What a small world.
I already have The Doors album, and I was kind of disappointed with it. Idk why, but it sounds rather flat compared to the CD. Maybe I got a bad pressing or something, but it's the flattest vinyl I own.
Small world indeed.
Thanks for the tip on The Doors album. I have a French pressing of The Doors Absolutely Live, and it sounds awful. On top of being flat age was not kind to it, and it sounds like it's been rubbed on a cheese grater, so much static crackle, despite looking mostly fine.
