I bet that most of our reading/watching lists have a few hidden gems. Which ones do you recommend to the other people here?

The Conqueror from a Dying Kingdom - This is for me a hidden gem. It has couple of weird things in it that no western author would dare to write about (Alternative History that would enrage a good chunk of the population, Author also dropped whole big chunk just to not write controversial stuff ). The world is devoid of magic other than impossible energy output of few creatures. I really like how Main character tackles the problems that world throws at him with his head. It's not GOAT but very solid novel that is very unlike other trash isekai.

Found it. And apparently there's a manga version, but it's considerably behind the LN. Seems interesting, worth a try.
