I like a good list, and 2023 left me with loads to chew over. Ultimately I decided on this as my favourite five:

  1. Lies of P
  2. Spider-Man 2
  3. Dredge
  4. Storyteller
  5. Metroid Prime Remastered

Did they have to come out in 2023? If not

  • elden ring
  • disco Elysium
  • death's door

In no particular order

Death's door is really fucking fun if you haven't heard of it. You're a crow who works as a reaper in a noir themed office space and you venture into the real world to reap souls but some shenanigans happens and you can reap a certain soul so you get trapped in the real world sorta. It's fantastic

Nope, they do not.

Try as I might I just can't get into Disco. I really struggle with games that require that much reading. I know it's stupid, and I know it's causing me to miss out on some fantastic experiences...but honestly I'd rather just read a book.

To me it's essentially an interactive visual novel. Basically a book in a different form and once I began to look at it that way I enjoyed it a lot more
