This community is dedicated to educational resources for the modern autodidact, as well as discussion on self-teaching methods. Preferably, resources are of at least university quality, though they do not have to be university affiliated. This community is also meant to act as a centralized hub for other communities dedicated to learning a new subject or skill (see !opencourselectures@slrpnk.net).

No, I think you're absolutely right and I am open to suggestions.

On the other hand, there are other ways to improve discoverability. Most importantly, I think that looks like a direct relationship with other significant learning communities.

Self-Education (so, /c/selfeducation) seems the most literal alternative that comes to mind, but perhaps others can think of better?
