“We have left Klishchiivka,” said Alexander Sladkov, a veteran Russian war correspondent embedded with Moscow’s troops, warning that nearby Bakhmut could soon be “under control of Ukrainian artillery”.

All that bloodshed for a pile of rubble. From a Ukranian perspective it seems smart to concentrate here, focuses the destruction.

I wonder if Bakmut will be rebuilt or if it will become a memorial to the War and sacrifice of the brave men and woman who lost their lives there.

UAF knows that Russia can't just give this city up as they turned it into such a symbol. It's a great way to tie up a lot of Russian forces.
