Depends which bank, some major ones offer "cardless cash" at specific ATMs.

I always make sure I take cash (or at least my atm card) when doing gumtree/fb purchases. It's a pain. Wish people would be more upfront about it but I guess the norm has been cash for so long. And not everyone is comfortable with payID.
