It bothers me that the phrasing makes it seem like the lawyer was advocating that directly. Sorry if that is too pedantic.

It is still horrifying that he was responding to the judge asking the hypothetical- and he was like “yes as long as they were impeached AND convicted “

So yeah. Biden “based on arguments by trumps lawyers, will be removing all republican senators… so there can’t be a conviction no matter what “
