Hot topic of late, tobacco shops!

Another one set alight this time in Point Cook.

Doesn’t seem like this is stopping anytime soon.

Conspiracy theory: this is a completely staged mob/gang rivalry. They've realised with the pending crackdown on e-cigs, their business model will soon become unprofitable. They're mimicking gang warfare in order to cash out on their insurance and move out the business into something more standard and wholesome, like cocaine

Edit: typos

Was chatting last night with a REA (social situation) - who reckoned that it was IMPOSSIBLE for a new cig/vape shop to open right now due to skyrocketing insurance costs. Landlords are very very leery about renting to anyone or any corporation that deals in cigs/vapes due to this.
EDIT: forgot to mention - a lot of existing landlords of commercial shops are doing emergency reviews of leases to such shops.
