I'm not trying to take away from this or make the "all lives matter" argument, but has it really gotten better for anyone? There was like an increased awareness among businesses that "health" exists during the pandemic and that people get sick and they need time away from work to recover. And then that started getting rolled back and we're right back to where we were before where nobody gives a shit and you have no excuses, get back to work. Outside of whatever meager things were done during the pandemic, it's not like there was any extra resources or initiatives dedicated to improving anyone's health.
During the pandemic, it did feel like things were going to change for the better and there was going to be increased empathy towards people and healthcare was going to become an actual priority, but that just sort of melted away and we're back to being on our own.
