I wouldn't have thought that a Volvo with some age on it was much of a target for joy riders, so maybe was nicked to order or for spare parts? The recent spate of thefts makes me think that someone has recently moved in to the area and has identified all the 'soft targets'.

I'm wondering that myself. Intruders and theft, especially from cars, is an ongoing issue but this is ridiculous.
