Gee, if only we saw that coming from several miles away. Seriously though, why is Alberta so hell bent on destroying its public health care? I know politicians are stoking the fire and looking to gain from it, but why does the public keep electing these clowns that will see them worse off with more expensive health care? VS, you know, funding public health care properly?

As an Albertan, I can answer this pretty succinctly:

"Fuck the left/LIEberals/Trudeau-Notley Coalition/pedos..."

Seriously, the number of people here who would rather cut off their left nut with a rusty machete and no anaesthetic before voting for anything other than the right-wing party of the day is staggering.

Ralph Klein was a drunken asshole who fucked over the people who voted him in for decades, while playing "man of the people." (In his defense, he was an actual drunken bum before getting into politics - unlike Kenney and Poilievre.) People are spitting acid about how terrible Notley was, because she actually tried to improve things for them.

It's depressing. And it's getting worse.

Why are people voting against their self-interest, electing people like Trump? 🤷 Looks very similar.
