What are good editions of Gramsci's works? I feel like there is a bunch of opportunist appropriations of him in my country by useless soccdems that will not go anywhere and I want to see what he has to say himself. Commentaries are also ok, but I really want to read him without any "filters" as much as possible. (ik that the prison notebooks are a mess obviously)

Thanks in advance

thanks, how is the commentary/explanation of his allusions and metaphors?

It has some useful context, a short into by Eric Hobsbawm, chronology, and then in the back there is a glossary of key terms.

Np, was it what you were looking for?

I wanted to read Gramsci's thoughts on hegemony and compare it to today's implementation of that strategy
