How’s is the OS and their accessibility? Do they have a unique one, or do they run off of Android?
I assume they're talking about it Android. Chinese companies are beginning to really grow like crazy everywhere except the North American market. Some people on North America import them because in some cases they have more advanced camera technology, bigger sensors. Or because for a while the only foldable options outside of Samsung or Chinese brands that you had to import.
Here in Vietnam they're growing quickly, too. I got a very good deal on a recent-ish model Samsung but I was considering a Xiaomi. I may get a tablet from them if they make one. Overall a better deal than Korean brands.
MIUI is frankly kinda bloated with ads, and I'm sure it collects more data on me than I'd care to know, but with Netguard and F-droid apps it becomes quite usable. (I'd like to try LineageOS, but right now I can't afford to mess around with my phone and risk breaking something). The hardware is undeniably good: my phone is from 2018 and the battery still holds charge very well, and for basic functionality (that is, not games) it suffers from no noticeable slowdowns, even after more than five years (and it being a cheapo phone even back then).
Their OS is based on Android, is called MIUI. I think it's ok, pretty modern but is not remarkable in any sense. The accessibility however its in pair with the android phones in the market I guess
