I'd always prefer a party whipped right - liberal LPC MP to a Conservative MP, but reading the guys story makes me think he doesn't have a political philosophy beyond personal advancement, which is a tough sell to most.
Good fit for the LPC or CPC then, honestly.
Disagree, the Federal Liberals and the CPC both have pretty established and distinct political philosophies. Liberalism especially.
The Liberal Party of Canada are of the Oxford Manifesto tradition, or more recently the Andorra Manifesto.
I can recommend reading both as they help colour liberal activities over the last 70 years, but if you can only read one you should check out the Andorra.
