Just like the spectrum of gender, there's a spectrum of bad cops. They're still bad, just some are ever so slightly less bad.
Like, if gender were a giant delicious jawbreaker, then cop badness is a small 1.5-inch piece of turd that accidentally rolled out from your pant leg in front of your crush but there's a honey-roasted peanut in it.
I mean, yes ACAB, but I feel it is a bit unfair to say "some are ever so slightly less bad" when some of them are committing literal rapes and murders, and others are not. Yeah, they support the system and all that, and that is very much Bad TM, but that is still world's away from actually snuffing someone's life. Which I admit is kind of a low bar, but yeah...
