Translations – The Ben Fowkes translation is more modern. The one by Samuel Moore and Edward Aveling is older, but some say purer. I don't have any real knowledge here, so could use advice.

Time and tempo – Volume I is about 950 pages, so maybe four months? How does that sound? We could do all volumes within a year if we want to.

Roughly:

Volume I — 950 pages
Volume II — 500 pages
Volume III — 950 pages

In that case I think setting up a yearly schedule is perfect, lets people pick up on a regular schedule and we can start reusing and referencing old threads as we cycle back the next year and build on discussions from previous years.
