  • Translations – The Ben Fowkes translation is more modern. The one by Samuel Moore and Edward Aveling is older, but some say purer. I don't have any real knowledge here, so could use advice.

  • Time and tempo – Volume I is about 950 pages, so maybe four months? How does that sound? We could do all volumes within a year if we want to.

Roughly:

Volume I — 950 pages
Volume II — 500 pages
Volume III — 950 pages

I'm interested in keeping general bookclubs going for this and that, for whatever people are interested in. But the Capital bookclub would be different (special, if you will), amd will repeat until the end of time.

In that case I think setting up a yearly schedule is perfect, lets people pick up on a regular schedule and we can start reusing and referencing old threads as we cycle back the next year and build on discussions from previous years.
