I mean yeah, the gameplay is fundamentally flawed. Ignoring all the bad writing and shit politics (it's a Bethesda game after all), Starfield is lacking the one draw of every other game they've made in the past 2 decades: wandering around a large open space and stumbling into fun encounters. Starfield instead has endless radiant POIs and 5 minute walks across barren wastelands. On my playthrough, I regularly turned my speed up to 10x to just skip the bullshit and it still took too long. In particular, the walk to the merc base in the final mission of the Rangers was like 2-3 minutes at 10x speed.
EDIT: lol having watched the video the thing he's talking about literally doesn't matter and would only make the game worse.
