I'm not a woodworker, but I love this community. This one brought back great memories of sitting and watching my grandfather carve similar pieces. Not mirrors, but he would make clocks or just wall pieces. I have several of his very early ones and then one of his last before he passed. Seeing the progression always makes me smile.

Thanks for sharing and reminding me of some good life moments.

Shitty pic, sorry. I'm in the middle of a move and pulled it out of a box. This one ended up displayed at Disneyland and won a people's choice award by park visitors. He was pretty proud of that.
