I got a pretty good job earlier this year. Currently getting paid the most I ever have in my life, paid off a big chunk of credit card debt from the start of COVID, gonna actually be in the market for a house come the new year which isn't something I ever thought I'd be able to say about myself. What's really wild though is that even though I'm making enough money to qualify for a (modest) mortgage, I still can't afford rent anywhere in my city, which is why I've been living with my parents since July.
