If you're seriously asking for "America" (north and south) as its own continent, that means that "Afroeurasia" is also its own continent. The Sinai/Suez chokepoint is actually more than twice as large as the Panamanian one.

technically the geometric center of "the Americas" is somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, though possibly could land in the Caribbean

kinda tempted to calculate it now bc there's a good shot of it landing in Cuba. That would be some next level meme magic
