Elden ring was a great experience but I have no desire to ever go back and play again whereas demon souls remake and original I have replayed countless times and will continue doing so.
I think demons didn't get as much fanfare because it was already quite a niche game but it also suffers from being quite archaic which can be a significant barrier for people unfamiliar with demons.
It was also exclusive to a console which at that point was really hard to buy because of scalpers.
True, somehow I completely forgot that happened
Elden Ring was amazing. It's just so massive it requires a real commitment to a playthrough. I don't think I plan on touching it again until the DLC drops.
Elden Ring is fun to go back to if you do like a seamless co-op randomized run. Trying to get that set up with friends and finish a run before the DLC comes out
