It's fine if you don't stir or let it get to boil. You also wanna grind the coffee fine enough/dose so there's almost no sediment left over.
Oh shit do you put the water over the grounds? I been buying premade turkish coffee since its the cheapest kind around me but I pour it into the boiling water. I like the grit tho, keeps me present.
Yes, you start with cold water, then heat it up to just below boiling.
