On the one hand this is a well done video.

On the other hand... get t shirts that go down just a bit further than your waistline.

... Is... is this news to people? Do people not know this?

I mean, the t shirts that go down further are part of their own fashions and styles.

But this just seems like Fashion 101 to me. Like basically every well known action movie ever follows this rule for a male lead, that or its a dress shirt tucked in at the waistline. (Assuming they are not a costumed superhero)

And now these are called cropped shirts?

Fuck I guess I am just old. You say crop top I think exposed abdomen. You say t shirt I think something that comes to just a bit longer than your waistline.

Is this a zoomer thing? Are normal t shirts a novel concept to zoomers?

I am very confused, please help.

It's more of a tiktok trend than anything, but... along with people buying oversized tees, some people were literally just sizing up, and some people were, accordingly, wearing long-ass tees. So a lot of those people started taking scissors to their tees and cutting them so they ended a lot higher, really right around a high-rise waistline—sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower, sometimes more or less of a relaxed fit, resulting in specific, precise proportions.

I can't really supply you with good examples, I'm not even on tiktok, but... it's a thing.
